Performance-artist Peter Baecker was never one to confine himself and his Fluxus-Art-Happenings to art-spaces. His endless will to explore spaces of human interactions finally bring his interactive Party-installation “Peter Baecker 80’s” to the Broken Heel festival.

He's one part aerobics instructor, one part DJ, and 100% sweat. Dressed head to toe in a silver suit, with a giant mohawk and energy to burn, Austrian-born Peter Backer travels the world with his 80s mobile disco, setting up in anywhere from sweaty Berlin clubs to a mall in Sydney or the New York Times Square. And now it’s time for the Outback!

Expect shimmering lycra and unadulterated enthusiasm for all things 80s. Dance away to the hits of the most ridiculous decade ever. Your host Peter Backer exudes a neon glow, as the rainbow rays bounce off this dancetastic artiste like a human mirrorball.
