“Two Peas in a Pod”

Featuring June Marie Bennett and Dame Liz Taylor

Performance & Portrait presentation

Dame Liz first met June Marie Bennett last year at the festival and soon realised that they were both life long thespians with many many years of local theatre experience, they nattered away for hours and realised they were birds of a feather, aging but still vibrant theatre people. For a special treat they have created a wee duet to tread the boards together doing a little ditty called Two Peas in a Pod.

Dame Liz is also a successful portrait artist working in the classical realism style focusing on capturing the sitters personality. Dame Liz has completed a portrait of June Mare Bennett and is delighted to be able to present this portrait of June Marie as a celebration of her life and her work and her wonderful personality.
